Why we started Happy Human Life...
Â
March 2020Â SUCKED.
On top of dealing with the COVIDÂ madness and our usual overwhelming workload, we had to become part-time teachers and daycare providers for our three young kids (who were 7, 4, and 3 at the time).
It was the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do.
THEN… we found out we were going to have another baby.Â
Things needed to change if we were going to stay afloat.Â
This is what we did…
Step 1:
We LEARNED
- We had a strong foundation to build off of, but there was still SO much left to learn.
- We read books and listened to podcasts by experts in the fields of health, wellness, and parenting.
- We pretty much became obsessed with learning how to be better.
Step 2:
We PRACTICED
- The learning part was easy. Actually putting into practice what we learned was the challenge.
- But we just kept trying. Parenting was becoming easier and more fulfilling.
- The anxiety, depression, and guilt was still there, but we became better at managing it.
Step 3:
We SHARED
- Fast forward nearly three years... it was Fall 2022
- We got on social to share our stories and lessons learned so others could grow with us.
- We quickly learned that we were not alone. So many parents were struggling and wanted support.
Our next steps...Â
Within a year of sharing, we had a following of over half a million caregivers.
We knew we could be doing more than just sharing our stories on social, so we started The Collective, a support community where we could help parents directly.
When you join us in The Collective, you'll get instant access to our:
